Our statement of faith is simple

Our experience is that Jesus really is the answer to everything
In his priestly prayer (John 17) Jesus said that eternal life is knowing him as a married couple knows each other
He speaks to us by His holy Spirit, if we'll only listen and seek His wisdom

The Gospel is not complex or it would not be good news to most

The path walked after passing through the narrow gate is not easy nor obtainable without concientious practice and experience by the power of the Holy Spirit
  1. We believe that the Bible is true, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and that we can rely upon it for training, correction, and learning about God: Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
  2. We are convinced that the church is deeply within the great delusion talked about in II Thessalonians 2:11 and largely becoming apostate.
  3. We know that walking and talking with God in a personal relationship is the purpose of creation with the goal of our sanctification and fruitfulness.
  4. We are convinced that none of this can be comprehended or applied to our lives except by the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Only He can make the Kingdom of God real in our lives.
  5. We see the Christian walk as one of giving the Holy Spirit complete control of our lives to enable Him to strip us of our sin, bad attitudes, and unfruitful behavior so that we might be made like Him in all ways that matter and fully ourselves as we were designed to be before we were born.

On the religious side

Most of what we believe religiously is simply a matter of personal taste. God was very careful to not give us direct religious guidance

It is our contention that much of this He left up to the individual believers and the leadership of the local church. So, religiously we are:

We believe that good worship experiences take thought, prayer, and practice to be done effectively—and that they should follow the model of 1 Cor 14

We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit as listed in 1 Cor 12 are part of the normal day-to-day equipment of the saints

We believe that we are to offer our old selves to death as seen in Roman 12:1, Romans 6, and Ephesians 4
